30 Day Snap Challenge Day 22 - Ulta haul!

I haven't been to Ulta in a fairly long time. I've had on my this nyx super skinny marker. My current liquid eyeliner makes a really thick line and the ink even spreads out a little bit after application which is pretty inconvenient. So I'm pretty much in love with this marker because it's easy to use and has extreme precision! I needed a new mascara so I decided to try the cover girl lash blast because of how many beauty gurus rave about it. I usually stick with my l'oreal volume mascara while trying some maybelline mascaras here and there. So hopefully this mascara does me good. Also while shopping through the aisles I found the clearance section. I found this revlon cream shadow quad. I've meaning to buy the natural quad but since I saw this for just 2.99 I couldn't resist!

30 Day Snap Challenge Day 21 - Bai juice!

I tried this juice at a sample station at Costco and I was totally hooked! It's enriched with antioxidants that can cancel out free radicals. 30 Day Snap Challenge Day 14 - Asian fruits

Today I went to church with the family and ran some errands! I was introduced to a bunch of new fruits and snacks while doing grocery shopping at a Korean store. Love the Korean melon and Hanim melon? I also picked up two new snacks I haven't tried before which I both found to be very delicious but it might not be everyone's taste.

Today I sported the romper I got from Urban Outfitters a couple weeks ago with a cream top from Hollister that I knotted. It might not be the most practical outfit because it required me to take off the entire outfit whenever I needed to use the bathroom but I loved how it looked paired together.

30 Snap Challenge Day 8 - Yoga is me

Alex recently told me about this 30 day yoga challenge for beginners and even for regular yogis! I'm so glad I started this challenge because it introduced me perfectly to the craft and I enjoy it more and more each day! It's great to just relax and even build a little strength in your frame at home! It's a perfect way to get started! I enjoy it so much that I might start going to a yoga class regularly once I head back to school in the fall.

30 Day Snap Challenge Day 7 - Sundays

Today consisted of my weekly church attendance, good food, and a really good afternoon nap. The other day I decided to paint my nails a nice nude color by essie called made to honor which is usually my go to nail polish for french manicures. But I was wearing a pretty harsh green polish beforehand and I figured I should give my nails a break. I was cleaning up some mail that accumulated in the shelves of my bed side table and I stumbled upon these three cute notes Mark placed in my books senior year. It's funny how these small things can instantly take you back some place that happened so long ago. They're all song lyrics and they're pretty corny but that's okay. I love them.

30 Day Snap Challenge Day 6 - Call me weird but...

I love dipping my strawberries in salt. I suggest you try it before you call it gross. It's interesting but I love the taste! It's sour and then it's sweet and it's just delicious!

Lately I've been noticing that a lot of different people like to tell me I'm wrong when it turns out I'm right. The worst part is on every case that it has happened, I wasn't able to brag in their face! But that's besides the point. Every single time I backed down out of either nobility, ignorance, or just plain subordinate reflex. But what else am I supposed to do? Say, "No... but actually I think I'm right." That's probably the most arrogant thing to say and I would never want to come off that way to someone. But I guess I'll just have to not take it personally. In instances where things aren't always seen as black or white right away, it's hard to argue.

30 Day Snap Challenge Day 3 - Despicable Me 2 and retail therapy

Today started out kind of rough. But Mark and I decided to head out to the theater to watch Despicable Me 2 which was pretty good but pretty predictable. I finally got to just shop and browse afterwards with Mark in tow. Ever since I started getting to my job I feel as if I never have time to just look around the mall anymore like I used to. But I surprisingly found pretty good buys at Urban Outfitters which are this dress on the left and romper on the right.

The dress can still be found on the website under the sale section and I find that this particular type of dress is really in style this summer. It has a loose fit with a drop down waist that is pretty flattering. I love the periwinkle color and boho print. I always spot people weather this type of dress with an oversized knit cardigan or even by itself with some booties or even sandals. I can't wait to sport this one around. As for my romper I found on a whim when looking through the last chance rack after getting out of the fitting room. I wasn't particularly on the lookout for more rompers to add to my wardrobe as I usually am but this romper seems to have found me rather than the other way around. Thus rekindling my love for rompers. At first glance I didn't think that this romper would fit me as well but after trying it on it actually fit perfect. The top back view of the dress has subtle reusch on the back that gives the top part of the romper a snug fit but from the waist down it's really lose and comes with pockets! It actually gives the illusion that the romper is a dress when worn. I also love the print on this one as well. Both pieces are from the brand Band of Gypsies!

30 Day Snap Day 2 - A day at home

Today was a day spent home. I thought it would be a good idea to just stay home and enjoy doing nothing as opposed to when I'm always on my feet at work. I spent my day being lazy, eating, and trying to complete this level of candy crush. Which I did!

I saw this video today of the Cookies which is a dance group that performed at Body Rock 2013. This video is absolutely brilliant and I just felt like I needed to share it. I miss dancing terribly but during these days I feel like I can never find time and motivation to get back into it. I do wish I stuck with it longer but it seems as if it was just a phase. However, watching videos like these always takes me back and inspires me delve back into choreography and hip-hop dance but it always dies down ten minutes later. Anyways, I love their creativity and song choice. Perfect performance!

30 Day Snap Challenge - Day 1

HELLO. I decided to start this 30 day snap challenge that I found here. I thought that it would be great motivation for me to start taking more pictures daily and document more of my life on my blog. Anyways today was nothing special! Above is my lunch that just consisted of grilled cheese and some juice. Not much but I was just craving grilled cheese the other day but I wish I had some tomato soup to go alongside with it.

It poured this morning and it was a little frightening. But hopefully it'll clear out by Independence Day leaving a beautiful weekend to look forward to. I finally have more days off this week which I'm excited for. I can't wait for Despicable Me 2 to come out tomorrow and I can't wait to spend some quality time with friends. Corny..
