Caffe Bene

Last weekend I spent some time trying out a new cafe with a friend called Caffe Bene. I'd say their strawberry waffle was really yummy, especially their chocolate syrup. It was delectable with every bite. I didn't personally try any thing else on their menu yet except for this waffle. But the cafe had a good assortment of different kinds of coffees, smoothies, bubble tea, desserts, and Korean desserts. The atmosphere of the cafe was great and made me feel like I walked onto the set of a Korean drama.

Catching up with a good friend always rejuvenates me in a way. It reminds me that sometimes I can easily forget how blessed I am to have what I have when I get caught up in the things I don't have. I think it's important to have valuable friends that you know are worth keeping. The ones that keep you grounded and that you know you'll never get tired of.

S/O to you Alex because I know you'll be reading this. You're the best. :)

During this tete-a-tete, I realized there's something great about the act of spontaneity. Sometimes the most random of acts are worth doing especially if it means it'll make someone's night.

Always Tomorrow.

Fair Weather

Finally, just in time for spring, we finally got to see some sun today! I spent most of my day catching up with Alex which is always a good time. :) We always spend hours in Panera eating and just catching up. I know it's becoming a reoccurring theme in my posts lately, but it's really not until breaks like these that you realize how much time has passed. Last time I had a session with Alex was winter break and it really didn't feel too long ago. It's so crazy to see the differences overtime.

I think it's funny how much athletic clothing I have accumulated over the past week but I just couldn't help myself to these deals! I found most of these at Jc Penney. They are all dri fits and each were $12 or less which is a really good buy. I'm not much of a work out kind of person. But I do enjoy how comfortable they are haha.

Sad to say that it is already the middle of my spring break and I'm not ready to go back to school in a few days. But fortunately, April looks like a promising month and it will also be concluding the end of my freshman year. I can't wait until the summer, warm weather, and a bunch of free, relaxing time!

Too much reading adds drama to my diction

Majority of my afternoon was spent with the lovely, Alexandria. 'Ello Alex :) It's always a good vibes, good times kind of day whenever I spend it with that girl. Whether it's on the phone or in person. I just always feel so enlightened and comforted after talking because we always just seem to be on the same page and we always have insights to share. And, my cheeks always hurt afterwards.

After dinner, I headed out with Mark to a local mall just to get out of the house again and spend some time together. The rain storm that I had to drive through terrified me but luckily on the way home, the heavens calmed down to a light drizzle.

I intend to keep the rest of my break like today. Although, I started butting heads with my parents today. Conservative strict parents are an obstacle that I constantly have to face. Even though I am on the verge of escaping and slowly locking away my teenage years, I am still treated as if I am just entering them. As I patiently await the day my parents finally recognize me as an adult I am stuck with the chains that most thirteen year old's bear.

The rest of my night consist of eating the rest of my Pillsbury cookies and watching Robin Hood while Mark keeps up 'til morning. :)
